Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center

The Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science center, there are guided boat trips that provide the best opportunity to have a ride while viewing its large composition of the marine seabirds and mammals. They offer whales and wildlife boat trips that are carried out from December to mid-March, and the boat trips for dolphin discoveries are available from late March to December. In addition to that, the Virginia Aquarium has a significant one third fraction mile nature trail connecting it’s two buildings.

In order to create a better view of the osprey and the marsh nesting plans, the path is made up of a raised tower and many decks that expand over the water. There are also sections of the boardwalk curves through the oak woodlands where several bird walks take place. The aquarium presents more than 10,000 animals of above 350 species and a view of oyster reef.

The aquarium also has several activities such as the interactive exhibits, summer camp,  a sequence of the educational programs, and activities made up to encourage appreciation and conservation of the local natural resources. Some eco-trips are scheduled annually to certain places such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Iceland, and many other countries.

There is a free place you can stop nearby called the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum, which offers a wide range of wildlife viewing for wildlife enthusiasts and biders. It is located at the de Witt cottage.

From the Francis Land History Park, proceed to eat for about 0.9 miles on the Us 58 Virginia Beach Boulevard. Move right on Lynnhaven Parkway SR 414and proceed southwest for another 0. 5 miles. Move left on the incline or rather a ramp and move east for another 4.9 miles. At the end of 1-264, proceed right on Pacific Avenue and move south for another 1.3 miles. Move right onto the General Booth Boulevard at the exit of the pacific avenue and proceed southwest for another 0.6miles.the museum is located on the right side.
